Synopsis

Thirteen years ago, Yang Jian—the god also called Erlang Shen—locked his sister away beneath a mountain. Now he's broke and working as a bounty hunter, a far cry from his former glory. When a mysterious woman brings him a job, Yang Jian realizes he's being sent after Chenxiang, his nephew, who's desperately hunting for a magical lotus lantern. The lantern could free his mother, but using it would trigger disaster. As Yang Jian grapples with the fallout from his past choices, he has to deal with a whole crowd of other hunters after the same treasure—one powerful enough to reshape their entire world.
