Lotus Lantern
A kid born to a mortal mother and a divine father, stuck with the weight of having to save her. Along the way he runs into his uncle Yang Jian and picks up a master named Shen Gongbao. Shen Gongbao brings him up to speed on the whole Lotus Lantern situation—turns out it's broken into fragments scattered everywhere. The plan's to hunt down all the pieces, put the lantern back together, and use its power to crack open Lotus Peak so he can finally free his mom.
