Synopsis

Mugen Train Arc People have been vanishing on the Mugen Train, and the Demon Slayer Corps knows a demon's responsible. They dispatch Kyoujurou Rengoku, one of their strongest swordsmen, to handle it. But before he can board, a weaker demon shows up causing trouble at the train station—terrorizing workers and targeting an elderly woman and her granddaughter. Rengoku has to deal with this threat first. Once that's handled, Tanjirou, Inosuke, and Zenitsu arrive to back him up. The three of them board the train expecting a fight, but they have no idea what they're really up against. The actual demon they're after is way more dangerous than anyone realized. It's already made its move: by invading the minds of everyone on board, including all two hundred passengers, it plans to destroy them from the inside out. This demon is one of the Twelve Kizuki—the highest-ranking demons in existence—and it's about to demonstrate just how overwhelming that power really is.
