Scramble Wars throws together characters from a bunch of sci-fi anime—Bubblegum Crisis, Gall Force, Genesis Survivor Gaiarth, AD Police, and Riding Bean—and drops them into an over-the-top race that's basically Wacky Races on steroids. Super deformed, completely ridiculous, just pure chaos. Genom's hosting a big race, and the grand prize is the Genom Trophy. The competitors are wild: Priss with her Motoroid, Linna and Nene, Sylia and Mackie, some random Boomer, and a bunch of other characters you might recognize if you've watched any of these shows. Everyone's willing to do whatever it takes to win. You don't really need to have seen all—or even any—of these anime to enjoy it. The humor is absurd enough that it works on its own. But if you've watched at least one of them, you'll probably get more out of spotting the crossover characters. Either way, it's just meant to be fun and ridiculous.
