Synopsis

Satoshi arrives in the high-tech city of LaRousse, eager to test himself at the famous Battle Tower. His opponent turns out to be Tooi, a nervous kid who's terrified of Pokémon—all of them, even harmless ones like Pikachu. Turns out he's had a rough experience with them in the past and never got over it. Things get way worse when Deoxys shows up and basically hijacks the entire city. It shuts down all the technology and traps everyone inside. But there's one Pokémon that's not having it: Rayquaza, the legendary guardian of the skies. It's determined to kick this intruder out of its territory by any means necessary. Satoshi, Tooi, and the rest of the group end up caught in the middle of this clash between titans—but they're absolutely not staying on the sidelines.
