Synopsis

When 15-year-old Kino gets trapped in her own head, there's only one cure: traveling. She lives for exploration—finding beauty in unfamiliar places and seeing how different people make their lives work. Don't let her youthful appearance fool you though. Kino carries two handguns called Cannon and Woodsman, and she'll use them without hesitation if someone tries to stop her. Her constant companion is Hermes, a sentient motorcycle who's also her best friend. Together they wander through the countryside with one simple rule: never stay anywhere longer than three days. It's a life built on always moving forward. Along the way, Kino and Hermes meet all kinds of people and learn about the countries they pass through. These encounters shape who they are and what they believe in. But as Kino explores this vast world, she's also running headfirst into real dangers—the kind that hide in all those unknown places she's so eager to discover.
