Synopsis

Taiju Ooki has spent five years working up the courage to confess to his crush, Yuzuriha Ogawa. The moment he finally does, a mysterious green light engulfs Earth and turns every human on the planet to stone. Thousands of years pass. When Taiju wakes up, civilization is gone—nature has completely reclaimed the world. He's not alone though. His friend Senkuu, a science enthusiast who regained consciousness months earlier, has already been strategizing. Senkuu's got an ambitious plan: use science to rebuild humanity from scratch. Together, Taiju's physical strength and Senkuu's intellect make a powerful team, and they manage to figure out how to revive the petrified people. But things get complicated. As more people wake up, they start challenging Senkuu's vision for how society should be rebuilt. And nobody knows what caused the petrification in the first place.
