Synopsis

Hideki "Rusian" Nishimura made a huge mistake early on: he proposed to a girl in an online game, only to get brutally rejected. Worse, she turned out to be a middle-aged guy. Heartbroken and humiliated, he swore he'd never trust another girl in a game again. Fast forward a few years. Rusian's in a guild with three other players, including one with a female avatar named Ako. Ako's totally in love with him and wants to get married. Rusian figures she's probably some dude anyway, so he doesn't see the harm in accepting—as long as she's cute in-game, he doesn't really care. Seems harmless enough, right? Then the guild members decide to actually meet up in person. Plot twist: Ako's not only a real girl, she's also one of his classmates. So are the other guild members.
