Hideki is the story's main protagonist and Ako's in-game husband. He's got serious trust issues with girls—and there's a pretty memorable reason why. Years back, he confessed to someone he thought was a girl in the game, only to find out they were actually a guy. Yeah, that'll do it. The whole experience left him pretty wary of the female players around him, which makes his dynamic with Ako all the more complicated given how invested she is in their relationship.
