Synopsis

After a year away in America, Kurisu Makise comes back to Akihabara and reunites with Rintarou Okabe—but it doesn't last long. Okabe starts getting hit with these disturbing flashes of alternate timelines, a nasty side effect catching up to him from all his time travel. Things escalate until he straight-up vanishes from existence. Only Kurisu remembers he was ever there. Now she's facing an impossible choice. Okabe told her to stay away from time travel—that messing with it could wreck reality. But he's gone, and she could save him if she just breaks that rule. It's her duty as a scientist against her loyalty as a friend, and there's no right answer. Whatever she does will ripple through past, present, and future.
