Synopsis

Sakura Momoko's teacher assigns her third-grade class to draw something inspired by their favorite song for an upcoming art contest. Momoko picks a song from music class and gets to work, eager to create something good. While heading to Shizuoka to visit family, she runs into Shouko Kimura, a university student who sketches portraits at the local train station and is entering her own art contest. Momoko is captivated by Shouko's work, and they quickly cross paths again. Shouko finds herself drawn to Momoko's earnest, genuine personality. The two become fast friends and end up pushing each other creatively along the way.
