Midori Nagumo never really grew out of her high school habit of daydreaming and avoiding responsibility. Even after starting college, she'd rather chase fun than deal with bills or actual responsibilities. Her best friend Niikura is basically her opposite—responsible and focused on becoming a photographer after graduation. But Niikura keeps getting dragged into Midori's wild ideas anyway. That's how they end up meeting Wako Izumi, an enthusiastic but not-too-bright classmate who's constantly snapping photos of whatever catches her eye. The three of them end up as roommates in the same apartment and basically stumble through life together in the city, where strange and unexpected stuff seems to happen on a regular basis.
