A high school slacker named Saburou casually dismisses Japanese history—who cares about the past anyway? That's when he gets yanked back in time to the Sengoku Era and comes face-to-face with Nobunaga Oda, the legendary warlord trying to unify Japan. Here's the thing: Nobunaga and Saburou look almost identical. Exhausted and hunted by his own men, Nobunaga makes a desperate pitch—he needs Saburou to impersonate him while he disappears. Before Saburou can fully process what's happening, Nobunaga hands him the proof he'll need to convince everyone he's the real deal and bolts.
