Synopsis

The world's oceans are under siege by the Abyssal Fleet, and humanity's defense is unconventional—a naval base staffed entirely by Kanmusu, girls who embody the spirits of Japanese warships. By equipping themselves with special gear, these girls can tap into their ships' power and fight back. Fubuki, a young and inexperienced Destroyer-class Kanmusu, gets assigned to the elite Third Torpedo Squadron right out of the gate, which is basically the worst possible luck. She nearly gets killed on her first real mission, but gets saved by one of her squadron mates. That moment changes everything—Fubuki becomes determined to grow strong enough to stand alongside the girl who rescued her.
