Synopsis

Humans and demons exist in two separate worlds—Assiah and Gehenna—and the only way to cross between them is through possession. Satan, ruler of Gehenna, is stuck trapped in his own realm because he can't find a human host strong enough to contain him. So he sends his own son to the human world instead, planning for the kid to grow up and eventually become a powerful enough vessel for him to possess. Rin Okumura seems like just another delinquent teenager until demons attack him out of nowhere. That's when his life completely falls apart: he finds out he's Satan's son, and his demon father wants him to come back to Gehenna so they can take over the human world together. Rin refuses. Instead, he decides to become an exorcist and fight alongside his brother Yukio to protect Assiah from demonic invasion.
