Synopsis

There's an urban legend that if a girl makes a deal with a white fairy, she can have any wish granted—but the catch is brutal. She becomes a magical girl forced to hunt down witches and risk her life doing it. Iroha Tamaki is living proof it's all real. This kind-hearted middle schooler from Takarazaki City carries a magical crossbow and can heal wounds. She hunts witches in their hidden labyrinths before they can hurt people. The weird part? She has no idea what she actually wished for, and even Kyuubey, the white fairy himself, doesn't seem to remember either. When Iroha hears rumors about a city where magical girls can supposedly be saved, she boards a train to Kamihama without hesitation. Big mistake. The witches there are way stronger than anything she's faced before. After veteran magical girl Yachiyo Nanami has to bail her out, Iroha swears she's done with the place. But then she spots a tiny Kyuubey that stirs up some half-buried memories, and suddenly she can't stay away. Something about Kamihama City is pulling her back in, mysteries and all.
