Synopsis

Neo Venezia is a terraformed version of Venice built on Aqua (formerly Mars) in the 24th century. Despite being on another planet, the city captures all the rustic charm of the original—complete with gondolas gliding through canals as the main way to get around. Aria Company is one of several gondola tour operators that ferry both residents and visitors through the city's attractions. It's where Akari Mizunashi works as a novice Undine, the fancy title for tour guide. Akari is a cheerful teenager from Earth who's still finding her footing in this new job. The series follows her as she meets other Undines, tourists, locals, and gradually discovers what makes Neo Venezia special. Along the way she learns that even in a world of advanced technology and colonized planets, there's still room for wonder—and that miracles don't have to be natural to be real.
