Synopsis

Cyborg technology has gone public thanks to the Berühren Corporation, and people fitted with mechanical parts are called the Extended. Juuzou Inui is one of them—a former soldier with no memory of his life before the modifications. These days, he runs a small operation dealing with Extended-related problems around the city. When rumors surface about a rogue Extended who kidnapped a kid, Juuzou gets a firsthand look at the situation: a massive cyborg crashes through his office door with a boy clinging to his back, desperately asking for help. Juuzou could easily hand them over to the authorities and move on, but something feels off about the whole thing. Turns out everyone's after this child, and whether Juuzou wants to get involved or not, he's pulled into uncovering why this Extended is running, what the Berühren Corporation has to do with it, and how deep the corruption in his city really goes.
