Synopsis

When Naruto and Sakura return to Konohagakure after taking down what they thought were Akatsuki members, their teammates are thrilled—but the two of them? Not so much. Naruto's jealous watching his friends get welcomed home by their families, wishing his own parents were there. Meanwhile, Sakura's fed up with hers and would honestly rather they didn't exist. They're bickering about it when the masked Madara Uchiha suddenly shows up and yanks them both into a completely different world. Here's where it gets weird: in this alternate reality, Sakura's parents are celebrated as heroes because they died protecting the village from the Nine-Tailed Fox attack a decade ago. Which means Naruto's parents—Minato and Kushina—are still alive. Both of them get exactly what they wished for, and at first, it's amazing. They settle in and enjoy this version of their lives. Of course, something threatening shows up to wreck it. Now Naruto and Sakura have to protect this alternate Konohagakure and figure out how to get back to their own world.
