Synopsis

Sousuke Kaburaya, a private detective struggling to get by, literally has his day turned upside down when Sara da Odin—an imperial princess from another dimension—crashes through a portal on top of him. She has no idea that magic doesn't exist in this world, so when she casually throws around powerful spells in public, it causes total chaos. Sousuke's stuck taking her home with him, and thanks to the internet, manga, and all the conveniences of modern Japan, Sara adapts surprisingly fast and ends up becoming his detective assistant. Meanwhile, Sara's loyal knight Livia de Udis also makes it through the portal, but she lands somewhere completely different. She runs into a homeless guy who's totally cool with her weird background and quirks, and instead of trying to get back to her old life of nobility, she just. rolls with it and becomes homeless too. Kind of a wild pivot for someone of her status. Even though Sara and Livia end up living completely different lives, they both bring this genuine optimism and drive that rubs off on everyone around them. As they navigate the ups and downs of living in Japan, they leave their mark on the people they meet.
