Synopsis

Naomi Katagaki and Ruri Ichigyou couldn't seem more different at first glance. Naomi's quiet and anxious, while Ruri's blunt and intimidating—basically the kind of person who makes everyone else uncomfortable just by existing. But they both love reading, and that shared passion gradually brings them together. As Naomi gets to know her better, he realizes Ruri's actually sweet underneath all that coldness. He catches feelings and confesses, and she feels the same way. Things are looking good for once. Then Ruri gets struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Naomi's devastated, but he becomes determined to do whatever it takes to bring her back and see her smile again.
