Synopsis

Uka Ishimori is starting high school hoping to turn her life around. Back in middle school, she earned the nickname "Rocky" because people thought she was cold and emotionless—when really she was just shy. The bullying that followed made her school years miserable and isolating. This time, she's determined to be different. Then on her first week, Uka gets drenched in lemon soda by Kai Miura, a classmate with the kind of effortless cool personality Uka could never pull off. But instead of making things worse, Kai starts doing little things for her—small acts of kindness that gradually help Uka open up. And just like the fizzy drink, something exciting and bubbly starts bubbling up inside her.
