Kai's got that effortlessly messy vanilla blonde hair and chestnut brown eyes that definitely help with his whole handsome-guy thing. He's pretty tall for his age.
Personality
He comes across as distant and aloof—the type who keeps people at arm's length, especially the girls who are always trying to get his attention. He's not rude about it, just. disconnected. You'll almost always catch him with a lemon soda bottle in hand, which he basically uses as a barrier between himself and anyone trying to bother him. It works pretty well.
That said, he's got a softer side that only a select few ever see. His actual friends get the real Kai, and there's Uka Ishimori, his classmate, who he clearly cares about way more than he cares about maintaining his cool-guy image. With her, he actually shows genuine affection.
Background
Not much has been revealed about his childhood, but the main things that shaped him are pretty heavy: his mother died when he was around three years old, and his father bailed during his third year of middle school—specifically in winter. After that, he's been living in his uncle's apartment in a building his father still owns. It's not exactly an ideal situation, but it's what he's got.
