Synopsis

Uka Ishimori had a rough time in middle school. Thanks to her tendency to freeze up around people, she'd earned the nickname "Rocky" and became an easy target for bullying. High school seemed like the perfect chance to reinvent herself and actually enjoy school for once. That plan lasted about a week—until her classmate Kai Miura accidentally spilled juice all over her. Kai's basically everything Uka isn't. He's got lemon-colored hair, he's popular, he doesn't care what people think, and he says whatever's on his mind. But somehow, instead of just laughing it off, he actually reaches out to her. He encourages her to open up and be herself while literally everyone else was keeping their distance. Uka figured she just wanted to make some friends. Turns out, she wanted something more—she's fallen for him. A random juice accident turned into the beginning of something that's about to change both their lives.
