Synopsis

Suzuko Homura moves back to her hometown hoping for a fresh start, but she's really just chasing memories of her childhood best friend Chinatsu Morikawa. They promised to be friends forever, but life pulled them apart and they've lost touch. Making new friends at school proves harder than she expected. Chinatsu's dealing with her own problems—juggling work and school to help support her family, and the stress is piling up fast. Then both girls get pulled into WIXOSS, a popular card game that turns out to be way more serious than it looks. They're Selectors now, which means their memories have literally become gold coins, and they have to duel other players to collect five of them. The catch? Stop playing or lose all your coins, and something bad happens. Their LRIG cards—basically personalized avatars built from their own memories—guide them through matches. With everything on the line, Suzuko and Chinatsu have to fight their way through duels if they want any chance of getting their lives back.
