Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Die Neue These - Seiran 1
The Free Planets Alliance's invasion of the Galactic Empire has fallen apart. Poor supply management tanked the operation, leaving their forces decimated. Rather than cut their losses, Fleet Admiral Lazar Lobos orders what's left of the Alliance fleet to make a last stand in the Amritsar Starzone. The Empire responds with overwhelming force under Reinhard von Lohengramm, widely considered a military genius. But the Alliance has Yang Wen-li, a tactical prodigy who manages to pull off the impossible—he engineers a narrow escape for his troops despite being massively outgunned. Still, the victory tastes hollow for both commanders. Reinhard's frustrated by the incomplete win, while Yang is haunted by how many soldiers he couldn't save. Neither gets much time to dwell on it, though. Both the Empire and the Alliance are dealing with serious political upheaval that demands their attention.
