Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!
Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na!
Midori Asakusa lives in her own world. She's always sketching—landscapes, backgrounds, whatever catches her eye or pops into her head. She gets so lost in her drawings that even doodling on a spaceship wall becomes a real repair job in her mind. Her best friend Sayaka Kanamori keeps her grounded. They're complete opposites: Asakusa's got this childlike imagination while Kanamori's all business and strategy. One day they run into Tsubame Misuzaki, a young model they help escape her clingy bodyguard. Midori and Tsubame instantly click—they're both obsessed with art and animation. The difference is Midori loves backgrounds and scenery while Tsubame's all about drawing people. Seeing dollar signs, Kanamori pitches starting an animation club. Since the school already has an anime club, they call it a motion picture club instead. And just like that, the three of them are off to make animation that'll blow everyone away. Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! comes from the mind of Masaaki Yuasa and is basically a love letter to animation itself. It's wildly creative and proves just how much potential the medium really has.
