Synopsis

In a ruined Tokyo of the future, the Special Public Security Fifth Division runs Unit Eight—a specialized police squad that deals with criminals using dangerous wearable tech called Willwear. The unit's members are equipped with the stuff themselves, which makes them effective but also gets them a reputation for being reckless and ignoring the rulebook. The government plants Asami Kazari into Unit Eight as an undercover agent with secret orders. She shows up expecting to babysit a bunch of incompetent cops, but she quickly discovers they're actually skilled professionals who know what they're doing. They just bend the rules to get results, which constantly puts them at odds with bureaucratic oversight. With Asami now part of the team, Unit Eight takes on criminals and faces off against increasingly dangerous threats in Active Raid.
