Synopsis

Hisone Amakasu joins the Japan Air Self-Defense Force looking for direction in life and gets stationed at Gifu Airbase. While exploring a restricted part of the base, she discovers something the JASDF has kept hidden: a dragon-like creature called an Organic Transformed Flyer that can disguise itself as a regular aircraft. After the dragon swallows and spits her out, her superiors break the news—she's been chosen to join a long lineage of Dragon Pilots. Paired with her own OTF, affectionately nicknamed "Maso-tan," and training alongside other cadets, Hisone has to work through her self-doubt to figure out what she's really capable of. Along the way, she starts uncovering what these creatures actually are and why they matter.
