When Masato accidentally hits a baseball through the school's water main, the boys' dorm gets knocked out of commission. While repairs are underway, the guys have to crash in the girls' dorm instead. They draw lots to figure out room assignments, but there aren't enough beds to go around—some unlucky guys are stuck sleeping in clubrooms. Riki pulls a ticket that lands him in one of the cramped clubrooms. Kud notices how rough he's got it and works up the nerve to ask if he'd rather stay in her room instead. It's awkward at first, and the rest of the Little Busters won't let either of them live it down, but Riki takes her up on it. Spending the whole summer together, going through one thing after another, they both start realizing they might feel something stronger than friendship.
