It's 2027, and Kyoto has become a super high-tech city. Two classmates live there: Naomi Katagaki, an awkward and introverted guy, and Ruri Ichigyou, a girl known for being cold and brutally honest. Naomi loves reading just like she does, but he's too intimidated by her attitude to ever talk to her. One day while walking around, Naomi sees a red aurora flash across the sky and disappear. Right after that, he runs into a three-legged crow and a mysterious hooded figure who claims to be Naomi from ten years in the future. Future Naomi explains that he came back to prevent a tragedy that's about to happen to Ruri once they start dating. Present-day Naomi doesn't really buy it at first, but he decides to follow his future self's advice and get closer to Ruri anyway, hoping he can actually change what's coming. Can he pull it off?
