Synopsis

Like the first series, Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou follows Takashi Natsume, a guy who's been able to see youkai since childhood, alongside Madara—his bodyguard youkai who goes by the nickname Nyanko-sensei. Natsume inherited a "Book of Friends" from his grandmother Reiko, and he's determined to return the names written inside to their rightful youkai owners throughout his village. As he does this, he runs into all kinds of youkai: some genuinely friendly, some desperate to get their hands on the Book, and some that straight-up want him dead. Through it all, he learns more about himself and what his connection to these creatures really means.
