Synopsis

Thousands of years ago, a brutal war between humans and demons nearly destroyed everything. To end it once and for all, Demon King Anos Voldigoad gave his life, hoping to be reborn into a better world. The demon race prepared for his return by founding the Demon King Academy—a school designed to identify Anos when he came back. Two thousand years later, he does reincarnate, but things aren't what he expected. Magic has become way weaker than it used to be, and there's another problem: demonkind has completely twisted his history. His real personality, his actual accomplishments, his entire legacy—all of it got buried under a fake story about some impostor. Nobody knows the truth, which makes Anos a total anomaly at the academy. He's never seen anything like it. But Anos doesn't really care. He starts digging into who changed his past and why, and he's determined to prove to all his descendants that their king has come back.
