Synopsis

A new batch of talented girls arrives at Seishou Music Academy, kicking off another exciting year. The graduating 99th class is already deep into rehearsals for Starlight, a poignant play about two girls saying goodbye to each other. Pretty much everyone in the Actor Training Department has their post-graduation plans locked down—except Karen Aijou, who's perpetually upbeat but totally lost. She'd promised her ambitious childhood friend Hikari Kagura they'd perform together in a play, and she kept that promise. But now that it's done, Karen's hit a wall. Hikari was basically the reason Karen kept pushing forward, and without that goal hanging over her head, she doesn't know what comes next. Karen has to figure out what it really means to be a stage girl and find her own reason to keep performing—not someone else's dream, but hers.
