Synopsis

Masaki Tenchi seemed like just your average guy—aside from inheriting the family shrine, that is. Everything changes when he accidentally breaks the seal on a small shrine out back, accidentally freeing Ryoko, a demon who'd been locked away for centuries. Now he's forced to fight her. When Ayeka finds out her old enemy Ryoko is back, she decides to head to Earth herself to deal with it. That's how Tenchi ends up getting pulled into the galactic politics of the Jurai clan, one of the most powerful forces in the universe.
