Synopsis

Miyo Sasaki is an upbeat high school girl stuck in a dysfunctional home—her dad's checked out, and her stepmother tries way too hard to bond with her in ways that just annoy her. She's latched onto her classmate Kento Hinode as an escape from all that mess and isn't shy about showing her feelings for him, even if her methods are pretty unconventional. The problem is, Kento doesn't really notice her. But he does notice the stray white cat that keeps hanging around him—the one he names Tarou. And that's actually Miyo. As a cat, she finally gets the closeness she's been desperate for. Then reality hits. She overhears Kento dealing with serious problems, and there's nothing she can do to help him while stuck in cat form. So she's facing an impossible choice: keep things as they are and stay close to him as Tarou, or reveal who she actually is and potentially blow up everything they've built just so she can actually be there for him.
