Romantic Killer
Anzu Hoshino's got her priorities straight: video games, chocolate, and her cat. Romance? Not interested. She's not like other high school girls in that way. But then she boots up this janky 3D otome game, and out pops Riri, a glitchy flying wizard who announces that Anzu is "subject one"—basically a guinea pig for a real-life dating sim experiment. Anzu's furious, so naturally Riri confiscates everything she loves to force her into actually pursuing romance. Through a series of contrived accidents and cheap romantic tropes, Riri engineers a meeting with Tsukasa Kazuki, one of the school's most attractive guys. Anzu's determined to resist him at first, staying stubborn despite his genuine kindness. But as the ridiculous scenarios keep happening, she starts warming up to him anyway. Then Riri starts throwing other conventionally attractive guys into the mix—and suddenly, dodging a romance subplot becomes nearly impossible.
