Synopsis

Merchant Kraft Lawrence rolls into the village of Pasloe with a cart full of furs, expecting a routine stop. The locals have an old legend about a wolf goddess named Holo who blessed the village with good harvests centuries ago—the kind of story nobody really believes anymore. Before leaving town, Lawrence discovers a naked girl with animal ears curled up in his pelts. She claims to be Holo herself, the legendary wolf deity. Despite their rocky start, she talks him into taking her north to her homeland, promising to pull her weight by using her business sense and centuries of experience to help with his trading. What follows is a series of schemes and deals as they travel together. Lawrence and Holo hunt down whatever money-making opportunities they can find, getting tangled up in situations that test both their wits and their growing relationship.
