Synopsis

In Stern Bild City, people with superpowers—called NEXT—use their abilities for heroic or criminal purposes. A select group of NEXT heroes appear on the hit show Hero TV, where they fight crime while earning sponsorship deals and Hero Points. The ultimate goal? Becoming the legendary King of Heroes. Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, the veteran hero "Wild Tiger," has seen better days. He's not great at teamwork, and his recent performance has been pretty lackluster compared to the other heroes. Just when things look grim, he gets assigned a new partner: Barnaby Brooks Jr., a fresh-faced hero who actually goes by his real name instead of a codename. Tiger immediately dubs his new partner "Bunny," which pretty much sets the tone for their relationship. The two couldn't be more different—they clash constantly and barely tolerate each other. But whether they like it or not, they're stuck working together. They'll need to figure out how to make their partnership work if they want to save their careers and tackle the mounting dangers threatening their city.
