Synopsis

Mithril is a secret military organization that uses cutting-edge tech to take down terrorist threats. They assign a team to protect Kaname Chidori, a high school girl who's unknowingly carrying valuable scientific knowledge in her head—something that makes her a target for every intelligence agency and shadowy group out there. Sousuke Sagara, a hardened military sergeant, gets the job of enrolling at Kaname's school to keep watch over her. His commanding officer Melissa Mao coordinates from the shadows with backup from Kurz Weber. The problem? Sousuke has no idea how to act like a normal teenager. He's all rigid discipline and combat training, which means he constantly draws the wrong kind of attention and makes Kaname deeply suspicious of everything he does. Things get worse when terrorists make a move on Kaname. Sousuke recognizes who's orchestrating the attack—someone from his past—and decides protecting her matters more than following orders.
