Synopsis

Futaba Yoshioka goes out of her way to seem unattractive to guys. After getting isolated by girls in middle school for being too popular with boys, she's determined not to repeat that nightmare in high school—so she acts loud and clumsy on purpose. But she's held onto warm memories of Kou Tanaka, a boy she liked back then. Their connection fell apart when he abruptly stopped coming to school and disappeared. So when Futaba discovers he's returned—now going by a different last name—she can't help getting excited. The problem? Kou Mabuchi isn't the approachable, gentle guy she remembers. He's taller, more magnetic, and distant now. Way harder to reach. Futaba starts thinking that if she goes back to being her real self, maybe he'll finally notice her. But she's not sure if she's willing to blow up her current life and risk her friendships to find out.
