Yamcha
Yamcha started out as a desert bandit—literally living in the wilderness and robbing travelers. When he first encountered Goku, they were rivals, but Bulma's presence changed everything. Turns out Yamcha had zero experience with women, so he'd freeze up and blush furiously whenever she was around, which made him easy to befriend despite his rough exterior.
His signature move back then was the Wolf Fang Fist, where he'd strike with a clawed hand pose, curling his middle finger, ring finger, and thumb inward. His constant companion is Pu'ar, a shape-shifting cat who floats around and has basically been his best friend forever.
By the time of the Z-fighters era, Yamcha had completely turned his life around. He trained under Master Roshi alongside the others and became a legitimate member of the Z-fighter roster. His fighting style evolved too—he developed incredible ki control and replaced his old Wolf Fang technique with the Spirit Ball, a guided energy projectile that he could steer mid-flight using his middle and index fingers.
