Okumura is a 16-year-old second-year at Seidou High School, born February 20 in Kanagawa. He transferred from Daikyou Senior.
He's the quiet type—serious about everything to the point where he can't stand loud or flashy behavior, something that traces back to a bad experience with his middle school coach. More than that, Okumura genuinely believes you can't play baseball seriously *and* actually enjoy it at the same time. That's partly why he came to Seidou in the first place: to test whether that assumption is wrong, and to see what his own abilities could accomplish.
