Mukahi Gakuto is Hyoutei's acrobatic player, best known for his flashy, high-flying style on court. He's got a serious rivalry with Seigaku's Kikumaru, convinced he's the better acrobat of the two. On the doubles side, he partners with both Oshitari and Hiyoshi depending on the match. The catch? His stamina's pretty rough—it's been his biggest limitation and something he never fully managed to fix.
Off the court, Gakuto's basically a bundle of restless energy. He's obsessed with bungee-jumping (his ideal date spot is anywhere with a bungee jump setup) and collects random things like feathers. He skateboards, does street dancing, and shoots out about 100 emails to friends daily. His motto, made up when he was a kid, is simple: "A jump a day"—and he lives by it. He's into hip-hop, loves Spider-Man movies, and reads shounen sports manga.
Food-wise, he goes for deep fried chicken and fermented beans. Chemistry, English, and PE are his best subjects; politics and economics, not so much. He hangs out on the school roof a lot and joined the exercise committee. His family includes his parents, a younger sister, and a younger brother—his dad works in electronics, though Gakuto apparently doesn't get along with him great. He prefers easygoing girls and spends his allowance mostly just hanging with friends.
One last thing: he's said he wants wings. Seriously.
