Chidori
Chidori is Strega's third member, best known for her gothic lolita aesthetic and her role as a tragic love interest. In combat, she swings a red chained hand-axe and uses her Persona, Medea, in unconventional ways—most notably to mask Strega's presence from Fuuka's detection. Like Takaya, she demonstrates unusual Persona abilities, including the power to heal and manifest her Persona outside the Dark Hour.
She and Junpei meet randomly at Port Island Station when he keeps interrupting her sketching. Despite her initial hostility, she gradually opens up to him as he persists with genuine kindness. The irony is that Junpei spills everything about SEES to her without realizing she's the enemy, and she mistakenly assumes he's the group's leader.
During a full moon operation, Chidori kidnaps Junpei believing he can shut down SEES' plans. When the scheme falls apart, she gets wounded and ends up locked in a Kirijo hospital. After Junpei's repeated visits, the two grow close—he worries constantly about her self-harm—but Takaya's return from the dead pulls her back to Strega's side. Being forced to fight Junpei tests her loyalty hard, and when Takaya wounds him, she finally accepts what she feels. She uses Medea to save his life at the cost of her own, transferring him the passive skill Spring of Life, which regenerates HP each turn. Junpei later finds her sketchbook, filled with countless drawings of him.
In Persona 3: FES, players can revive her under specific conditions.
