Ingway is a bandit driven by a personal vendetta. His parents died after Dick "Grim Reaper" Bostok stole their land, and he's obsessed with getting revenge by killing the elder Bostok himself. To force a confrontation, Ingway takes Stefany Bostok hostage—along with Vash, Meryl Stryfe, and Milly Thompson—hoping to provoke Dick into a shootout where he can finally settle the score.
