Vash is actually a total softie who claims he's never killed anyone and goes out of his way to avoid fighting altogether. Armed with an inexplicable love of donuts and a goofy personality, Vash wanders the wastelands of the planet Gunsmoke. He's constantly trailed by two insurance agents, Meryl and Milly, who are desperately trying to limit the damage he causes. But things take a dark turn when a group of elite assassins are hired to hunt him down, turning their simple mission into a deadly game. As the stakes climb, Vash's traumatic past begins to surface, and his pacifist principles get tested to their absolute limits.
