Badwick shows up in the anime episode "Little Arcadia" and the manga chapter "Son." He's the son of an elderly couple clinging to their land while a ruthless developer named Morgan pressures them to sell. At first, Badwick doesn't get it—he thinks his parents are being stubborn and reckless, and he keeps pushing them to just hand over the property. Then he has a change of heart. He risks everything to get their deed to the bank, determined to keep Morgan from getting his hands on the land.
Despite coming across as gruff and irritable, Badwick's actually got a good heart. He loves his parents, even if he doesn't always show it gracefully, and ultimately proves he'd do anything to protect what matters to them.
