Kaoruko is a first-year A-TEC operator and basically the team's mascot—she's the youngest girl there, and her shy, gentle nature has won everyone over. She's got a delicate constitution that only adds to her appeal. During prototype flight tests, she handles communications, but you'll usually find her helping Makoto deal with supply orders when things are quieter.
