KamakiriFirst Appearance: Chapter 249; Episode 151
Kamakiri (螳螂, literally "Praying Mantis") is a Shandian warrior who fought alongside Wiper's forces to reclaim Upper Yard from Enel. He's known as one of Wiper's most trusted fighters and stands out from his fellow warriors for being genuinely kind—he's close friends with both Laki and Aisa. In combat, he wields a sickle and a Burn Blade.
During the Survival Game, Kamakiri faced off against Enel and lost, but he lived to tell about it. Before going down, he managed to warn Laki that Enel was basically unstoppable and that she needed to get word to Wiper. He eventually recovers once the war concludes.
Fans have taken a liking to him over the years—he ranked 45th in a recent Japanese popularity poll for One Piece characters.
